Severe Torture is a great death metal band, very representative of what has been going on lately the genre, making music a Pocpa smarter, just not technical. Formed in 1997 with a lineup remains largely intact, as his style has remained constant since their first album.
As I was saying is a brutal death metal a little more intelligent, with good rhythms, is said to come with a strong influence of the early work Cannibal Corpse, although it does is not nearly a copy of these, the most remarkable aspect of this band is that unlike most of the genre, this find memorable melodic moments, is something that is being done in the new wave of death. Personally this is a very full band, not the band where the battery goes avelocidades unimaginable, but keeps a perfect beat and some amazing changes throughout the album, plus guitar riffs, thoughtful, and low protruding into several occasions, the voice or voices that rather give a freshness to the band by not listening to the monotony of one voice for the album, with a deep guttural not very aggressive (especially in recent works) and a slight tear no very sharp and understandable.
Finally a great band and a must for fans of this genre, one of my favorite bands. I recommend especially "Fall Of The Despised" especially the rola "End of Christ" and "Sworn Vengeance" a track of the same name is also great, both songs represent quite well what I say up there, you'll see the genius that I speak .
